Granting Licenses

 Issuing licenses to broadcasters to operate within a specific frequency range or broadcasting platform (such as radio, television, or online streaming).

Content Regulation

Establishing and enforcing standards for the content broadcasted to ensure it complies with legal and ethical guidelines, such as regulations on obscenity, hate speech, and incitement to violence.

Technical Standards

Setting technical standards for broadcasting equipment, transmission, and signal quality to ensure efficient and effective broadcasting services.

Spectrum Management

Allocating and managing radio frequencies and spectrum resources to prevent interference and promote fair and efficient use by broadcasters.

Consumer Protection

Protecting the interests of consumers by addressing complaints, ensuring fair competition among broadcasters, and promoting access to diverse and high-quality programming.

Enforcement

Monitoring compliance with broadcasting laws and regulations, investigating complaints or violations, and imposing sanctions or penalties on broadcasters found to be in breach of the rules.
